The month of May has been everything I could possibly imagine. Its been such a long journey but on May 11th I walked across that stage. It was a gratifying experience to see my mom and grandparents in tears. I DID IT!! In the month of May i also received a raise/bonus at my job, enough for me to afford to send my parents on a vacation for their 24th wedding anniversary. My dad really likes Babyface (musician) and he has a concert this weekend in San Antonio. I really hope they enjoy themselves! They definitely deserve a vacation, it is sort of like a huge THANK YOU for a weekend lol.
That leaves me with a free holiday weekend to do absolutly nothing! I am sooooooo excited about that. Welp I think that's all i have at the moment. Ill ttyl!!!
That was so nice of you Tiara!
ReplyDeleteYour family seemed so kind and definitely proud of you at graduation. I love Babyface too - will you send me to San Antonio? Enjoy your nice, quiet weekend.
Congrats on the raise too!
You should be proud of your accomplishment Tiara! That was an amazing thing you did for your parents too, and I'm sure they will have the time of their lives.
ReplyDeletePlease accept my congratulations on your graduation and continued success!
Congratulations on your achievements! You should have bought a lottery ticket in May, I bet you would have won. You seem to have a very positive outlook on life and that is refreshing. I hear so many complaints about little things that do not matter, it is wonderful to hear you so jazzed up about life. Take that positive attitude with you to work and you can accomplish any goal you desire.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Tiara! I went to 2 high school grad parties this weekend, so I can only imagine the heightened excitement about a college graduation. Also, congrats on the job raise! I bet it was an awesome feeling to be able to do something that special for your parents! The best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the graduation! That is very exciting! I am waiting for that day as well - although mine is not going to be anytime soon... But it is encouraging to me to see others get there! And how nice of you to do that for your parents. I am sure they will appreciate that! Hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing an uplifting post, Tiara! Though we don't know each other well, I can truly say I am happy for you -- CONGRATULATIONS! That is so cool that you got a raise and bonus from your employer -- that's awesome that you're reaping the rewards of your hard work. And to be able to share that blessing with your parents -- what a great feeling that must be! Parents often sacrifice a lot for their kids, so it's pretty cool when we can give back to them. You are definitely paying it forward, girl! :)
ReplyDeleteWow Tiara... it's like you won a Trifecta!!! After all the hard work you put into earning your degree, plus the apparent outstanding job you are doing at work, it sounds to me like your "long-loner weekend" is the icing on the cake! I hope it was everything you hoped for... congratulations on all fronts!
ReplyDeleteCongrats and WOW what a GOOD daughter you are!!!!!
